Consultation and skin assessment
Every session begins with a focused consultation where our estheticians assess your skin concerns—pigmentation, texture, and overall clarity—and review medical history and current products. In Whittier’s sunny climate and commuter routines, we also consider sun exposure and daily schedules to choose timing and aftercare that fit your life.
Based on that assessment we recommend a tailored peel strength and recovery plan. The typical appointment length is 60 minutes and includes preparation, treatment, and short post-care guidance. We’ll explain sensations to expect and give written steps for home care to support clearer, smoother-looking skin while avoiding unproven guarantees.
What happens during treatment
During your 60-minute visit the esthetician prepares the skin, applies the selected peel formulation, and monitors response throughout. Treatments are adjusted in real time to balance effectiveness with comfort. We maintain a soothing atmosphere that considers commute timing and immediate recovery needs for clients from Whittier and nearby communities.
After the peel we provide immediate cooling and post-treatment instructions tailored to local climate and lifestyle. Because Whittier experiences warm, sunny conditions much of the year, strict sun protection and gentle skincare are emphasized to support recovery and avoid avoidable irritation during the healing window.
Recovery and follow-up care
Typical recovery includes temporary redness, slight peeling, and increased sensitivity for a few days; the exact course depends on peel strength and individual skin. We schedule follow-up guidance during your visit so you can plan around work or family responsibilities common in this suburban community.
Because our busiest months include January, February, November, and December, consider timing treatments for event preparation or New Year skincare resolutions. For local clients commuting from Pico Rivera, Montebello, or Downey, we suggest booking around travel and traffic on major corridors such as Pioneer Boulevard or Interstate 605.
